Anyone Bodyboard or SURF???

I was just curious, I know some of you skateboard and snowboard, but who surfs or bodyboards... I want to get back into it and Id like to have someone to roll to the beach with.

I used to bodyboard, and tried surfing. Damn I'd be down, once it gets warmer though. No wetsuit.

I surf. Usually just longboard. I have an 8'6 Chuck Dent and a 9' Harbour.

haven't surfed in a loooonng time though.

I surf, use to do compititions then stopped, but am starting to go a lot more then i use to (when cars really came in)

Yeah I bodyboard Ive surfed like 10 times not so into it although I would like to be. I bodyboarded alot when i was in highschool... 09 240 surf meet ftw.

lol i was totally kidding, my body surfing consists of catching a wave like 1/27 tries and then being really excited until i get my face pummeled into the sand/shells, then repeat until you are bloody enough that sharks start circling you.

emdo, my friend whose sponsored by ZJ's BOarding House, used to take me the beach to surf. I d body boarded, he sufed. 6 to 9am at pier 24 ithink. then we would skate 10am till dark. everday we could. man that was when i was 12 12 y/o.....

Yeah i grew up in going to beach in newport... wedge is fun, but you have to be cautious, ive seen like 4 broken necks in all the times ive been.

but yeah to answer the original question. i've never tried either, but always wanted too. definitely dig the whole bodyboarding thing a lot more because it looks so much more fun, but the surfing will get you the ladies so I'd like to learn how to do both.

Where would you guys wanna go for the 240 spnonge meet???? I know of this beach near john wayne airport in irvine or something. I'd have to research it. But last time I went there, massive sets. And flat waves were non exisitent.

I live near venice/santa monica. God I hate It there. I was gonna get some surfing done in texas. Warm blue water. South Padre Island is the shiiiet. Fine ladies EVERYWHERE. Esepcially spring break.

Prayin for S-SW swell!!! Wedge BABY!!! right across the harbor from wedge at Big Corona in coronal del mar gets really good and hollow on big S-SW just like wedge. I am still dreadin 57 Degree water... psshhh WETSUIT is a must.
