S-chassis after S-chassis. SO many Nissan's out there, but my all time favorite part was the caravan.

We're down to coordinate one where every area code meets up at certain points heading up to Oxnard. For instance the WLA 310 guys will be meeting up with us @ the 818. If the 626 & 323 want to hook up heading over we could meet up somewhere & cruise up on the 101 before exiting to cruise the canyon out to PCH. A nice chill cruise too of course with no mickey mouse games.

Yeah, it starts in SD, then to O-side, then to Grrvine, then to Cerritiss (Old CHS Alum should get that one) then to industry, then to Santa Monica, then up the 1 to Oxnard, collecting more and more people at each stop. Last year I had people complaining that we were going too slow when we were traveling with the flow of traffic, so if you want to race to the meet, we're not the group to drive with. I'll have the itinerary up after the details are released on the actual meet.

Just a note of advice though, bring two-way radios. (family band walkie-talkies, not CB) It helps with communicating important route details, and keeping the group together. Last year we hit gridlock when we came up on an overturned big-rig on the 5 to Oceanside and got broken up, this could have possibly been avoided if everyone had radios on them. It also helps relay important info about road conditions ahead, such as cops, potholes, etc.

Yeah Heath remember we brought ours last year and they were helpful. I'd suggest getting a couple more in case our group get's bigger this year we can make sure we all stick together.

I thought about it, but from what I know it cost a bit to do the one for the industry 240SX meet, and this caravan is a LOT longer with a lot more cars. Don't know that the CHP would lend their personnel to a 210mile/5hr drive across a major portion of Southern California. At least not for what we could afford.

Hook up with us at cosco off the marina fwy(90) then go on the 405n to meet up with 818 crew...so itd be a super long convoy. 818 and west la have about 30 combined so far....that'd be incredibly sick.

well marina/venice is stil south of where we'll be, (no need to back-track) and we've done the cruise up PCH every year for the last 3 years and everyone really enjoys it. Only thing I can suggest is the same thing I suggested last year... If you guys head over the 23 or something you could find a place to stop on the 1 and join us as we pass by. I've tried finding a location to have a stop along the 1, but there's no where that supports the amount of cars we have with any sort of ease.

Let's make it happen guys, Im honestly game for where ever. SB is limited with good spots for the meet, that's why I suggested girsh park, it has pleanty of room for a ton of cars. Not a lot of BBQ pits.

kk i emailed the director of the foundation that manages girsh park. their website (Girsh Park (http://www.girshpark.org/)) is kinda vague about getting reservations and such.
it says $105 per day for the group bbq site with a $150 refundable deposit.

i wish i had the funds to front this, but i really don't.

but it looks like a good location for what we need.

if enough ppl are willing to pitch in on this, i will take initiative to get the reservation. but i'm not going to fund this out of my own pocket.

The $10 fee at Bolsa Chica (Huntington Beach) will basically be a "No Hassle" fee from the cops. There you can party all night and even have a bonfire. Just use the fire pit as a grill and you're set.
