My 240sx keeps stallin out on me...What can it be? HELP!!!

Hi guys....Im new here...I just bought a 90 240sx for my girlfriend..The darn thing keeps shutting off...Ill be driving along the street and it will just shut off on me..I still have power and everything...The car cranks but doesnt crank over and start...If i let it sit for a while and go back it usually starts right back up...What could this be?...Thanks

If you can, get it to an Autozone or a place that can check the electrical for you. Might find out your battery is really weak and needs replacing, or some link is the problem. Like I found out my ground was **** poor and that was causing a bunch of problems.

Start with the basics. Check for spark at your plugs and fuel to the fuel rail. Once you rule those out, come back with more detail :-)

If you just bought it, can't hurt to give it a basic tuneup (plugs, filters, distributor cap/rotor, mebbe plug wires)
