The question is, would a Strut bar like OBX be just as good as Cusco?
Are you just paying for the name?
They both work the same, lets say, the Cusco does function better, how much better would it? Would the little more function be worth the $$$???

Ahh, so rude!
The strength of the bar is different with names.

Yeah, but anyways, I guess its just the little things that seperate them. Weight, rigidity, blah blah, but they all do serve the same purpose. But if you think the cusco functions better, by all means, get it, I guess its just personal preference.

We did, AJ in the beginning?
More $, better material the bar is made of. Therefore, the bar is better.

The thing you really want to ask, is is it worth the extra money. IMHO it's not. I'll save all that extra money for a new exhaust.
hey S13grl how much was the stillen strut bar i was gonna call them for the price but never came to it..so maybe you can let me know how much???

The more expensive bar may be "better", but most likely if you tested both on the car you wouldn't be able to tell the difference. It's not worth it...get a cheapy. Pilot Motorsports front and rear...40 bucks a piece.

Yeah, what Lance said...
The only material difference is if you get carbon fiber - otherwise, aluminum is generally aluminum-like.

They're about $200 a piece (incl. tax) at a local import shop. When you get them through Stillen, they're just about the same thing.

Go to <a href="www.pdm-racing.com" target='_blank'>www.pdm-racing.com</a>, they sell front bars for s13/s14 models for 40 bucks. They are the cheapest place for parts I have found so far. Plus they're local for me so I'm set.

I know we don't list it on our site, but I can get and any all Cusco / Greddy products, some of them are just special JDM orders and take a while to get, including the Tri-bar which takes a while to round up.
Of course you get what you pay for when you go with products, but my personal opinion on STB's is that unless you are a hardcore Auto-Xer or Road Course racer than you will never know the difference <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':)'>

Not always, I saw a JDM style Type R cigarette lighter on ebay the other day goin for $20 , I don't think it'll sit there uselessly any better than my stock cigarette lighter, or a cheap one from Pep Boys. . . Good God, who buys all this shit <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/tounge.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':p'>
hehe, jspec has one for our car as well. I think boostdynamics was refering to performance parts tho <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':)'>
