Ok so im no idiot when it comes to cars and i have taken off and installed plenty of bumpers, but this bloody freaking bumper just wont line up to save my life and its not going on easy at all. the tabs on the top close to the rad are past the holes by about 1/2" or so and the fenders about about the same distance away from the bumper.
so what i am asking here is some advice maybe some tricks or things that you guys have picked up after doing some S13 front bumpers, maybe i should do something with the foam bumper or who knows
set up: i have a dual cam bumper with one side being the orignal bumper and the other being a replacement from a single cam.
i really hope someone has something that i can just be like oh yea thats it duh.. Kthxbai

What do you mean one side being original and the other being a single cam?

so from what I read, you basically have 2 different bumpers that you pieced together and now they don't fit????
Has the car been in an accident?

sorry i guess im so frustrated that i wasnt clear.
One of my fenders on the car is the original (dual cam) fender which has the fender extension. The other fender is from a single cam car so it has no hole for the fender extension. It seems that the single cam fender is a little worse in fittment but not by much. And as i sat there looking at my fenders thinking why the bumper fits so well in the top part where the hood meets the bumper, but were the fender meets the bumper its off by a 1/2" I relized, I rolled and pulled my fenders some when i was rebuilding the car so i could fit my 9" wheels in the front. when i did that i didnt have the front bumper on and im worried that it might have tweaked the fenders some when i did that.. any thoughts?

Its a bitch putting on those bumpers
One time I got one that nothing lined up on the sides
All the screws were bent to hell
I had my friend pushing the bumper while I tried to line it up
I eventually got it on but it didn't fit too great
Now I got a front conversion:D

You need fender extensions if you want to use single cam fenders on a twin cam bumper.

i have them its not the square s thats the problem its the bumper bolting to the fender thats being a complete whore. i guess i am going to have to have someone help me push the bumper while i get the nuts on the studs started.
Oh yea and no accidents for this car too btw!

If you rolled the fender with the bumper off the car you could have easily tweaked it enough to be out of alignment. You also could have the fender slightly out of alignment against the chassis too.
