What's the best stuff to use to make rubber exterior parts such as the lining around the windows and shit like that look new or at least less worn and darker? I've heard of back to black but i was just wondering if there's anything better out there..

I've used mothers back to black. it's meh. rubs off easily. doesn't really soak in. i don't have anything better to suggest though.

nothing is really going to be permanent. most will have to be applied weekley for it to look decent.

Ive used all of these products. and i actually like the mothers product best. i just apply it really heavy, multiple times. and it eventually does "soak in" a bit and looks pretty decent for a few weeks. After you get it to that stage, just apply after every car wash like i do.

Use an item called "Gummi Pflege" from Einszett.

It reconditions the weather seals. After a couple applications your window seals look like new (if they werent destroyed in the first place.

Einszett is an awesome company for waxes and cleaners. A lot of Porsche guys use it.

I use Armor All on newish stuff, but on old rubber it just turns brown... I've tried Black Magic, didn't really do anything for me.

KIWI SHOE DIE.

ive used it. my friends have used it. works great! i know it sounds weird but it works better than anything ive used. make sure its die and not the polish.
kiwi shoe polish wipes off when you wash the car

Great!! You should really like it.

Also, check out their wax polish. They have a unique formula for their waxes. Its designed for paint use, but if you accidentally get it on the rubber/plastic/glass or whatever, it wipes right off without leaving a white chalky residue like other waxes would.

The sales guy there did a demo on my car at Autobacs one time, and he took a cloth with the wax, started from the roof and wiped it all the way down to my sideskirts. Over the glass and everything!! He then let it haze like normal wax, and buffed everything out. I was really impressed with the finish and how easy it was.

Also, they have varying levels of wax/polish for different levels of paint (such as new paint vs old, damaged paint)

i've heard good things about their rubber cleaner/conditioner too, but I've never used it myself. I think I'm going to buy some soon to test it out. my door rubber seals are getting kinda old.
