Tomei N1 pump - But Walbro has never done me Wrong (4 Pumps on 4 diff cars).

Thats a huge argument w/ some people though. My Friend has a RB25 and Wouldn't dare use a Walbro.not sure what his Beef is.

Most EVo guys will call them "whinebro's".

the actual z32 pump will flow 260lph vs a walbro 255 but also costs about twice as much, i only said walbro because most people don't demand that little bit more flow compared to price

I've heard good things from Circuit Sport fuel pumps
PDM Racing - Fuel and Ignition (http://www.pdm-racing.com/products/fuel.html)

That looks damn identical to a Walbro, even down to the rubber caps. I'm betting they're repacking and selling them under their own name.

denso 310lph fuel pump from supra
another VERY good option.

but i don't see many people on here needing that or willing to pay that.

you can get a Walbro 255 for under $90 not a bad deal. i got one in the coupe.

going to be keeping that and running one Bosch 044 Inline or maybe just 1 Magnafuel/Aeromotive pump later on.

I would suggest an OEM Z32 TT pump over the Walbro. I'm sure I'm just a rare case and I'm not bashing the pump but I've gone through 4 pumps in my 180 and 2 in my RB240.

I do however have a bad habbit of going past a quarter tank and have since TRIED to break that habbit with my TT pump. I only got the TT pump because my sponsor was kind enough to supply me with one. They're pretty expensive when your comparing them to a Walbro but it doesn't even whine as much either.

In any case I'm sure a Walbro will do you just fine as they do for pretty much anyone.

OEM > Walbro

Biggest gripe from some tuner I've spoken to is that on OEM, when they go bad, they just wont turn on. Walbro have a tendency to die slowly, you wont know they're not working properly until either you notice it on a gauge or you're tuning it. What happens when you're boosting 1-1.5 bar and your pump suddenly ease up on the fuel? BOOOOM!!!

My walbro pump is silent. Just whines a bit when its priming. No problems so far.

had no problem with my walbro on my 400whp suby and no problem with either walbros in my s14's. oem will almost always be better but is it worth the money?

Damn everyone always bitches abouth the walbro whine. It still is a good pump, affordable and does its job. plus with the whine u get a free fuel pump test kit lol...the whine. but seriously if you take care of it, it will do its job for awhile. i just got mine but my buddy has had 1 for 3 years so far but he and I never go below 1/2 tank lol
