im lookin to drop my s13 a little. i dont have enough for coilovers so i figured lowering springs were the way to go? i want the look but im more interested in a bit less body roll... any sugestions? or should i just wait a while and get the coilovers? it would take a while to work up the fund for the coilovers tho..
good idea? any specific things i should look for?
thanks in advance
its a 93 hatch if that matters

Save for the coilovers. Start checking the For Sale section of this board too. Might get yourself a pretty good deal.

The listing should tell the condition...there is no true way to tell though. Also take a look on ebay, there are some good finds.

yeah that's the only thing with buying used, if they don't have any rep its just a game of chance =/

eliminate a lot of your body roll by switching to larger diameter sway bars. those will help ur body roll woes

thats what i was planning, but just for the temp ive got the money for the springs. and i could always resell em on ebay or whatever right?
i dont really think im comfortable buying used coilovers from someone i dont know... to much money

best advice is to save up for coilovers...you'll probably end up getting them later. why spend more money upgrading from stock springs > drop springs > coilovers.

in my experience i wasnt able to sell my springs for a much.pretty much had to give them away. i would save for coilovers for sure. upgrading sway bars would be ok. if you are just after the look, cut your springs. im sure some will tell you not to do it
