so i just finished my sr swap not to long ago and noticed on my safc 2 that the battery voltage at start up would only be at 12v or less. after i figured that the alternator isnt charging the 75A fuse was blown as well.. went to replace it and just blew again. im using a DOCH KA alternator just to inform you guys. but i realized that on the battery side of the alt. theres no plastic piece at the base. is the alternator just grounding itself on the powerside to to that plastic piece missing? causing a short and blowing the fuse?
