i was there for a semester. theres like one napa style store in arcata. eureka kinda jsut has a bunch of mechanic shops. i ended up leaving my 240 back in LA and just bought a civic to roll around in. if ur goin to humboldt state university its not quite car friendly. especially nissans. its a really wet area and close to the ocean so alot of salt water.

One of my friends lives up there. He likes it. If you like cold weather, rain, the ocean, outdoors stuff, fishing, and no smog for your car then Humbolt is the place to be.

Rust isint that big of a problem for newer cars. There is also a small group of 240sx owners up there. Getting engines and such can be a problem but small things I would imagine not being that hard to locate. There is a tuner shop up around that area cause my friend had his ka-t tuned up there and his brother had a ls1 FD that went on the dyno. I forgot the name of it though.
