A xhaust shop near me that i can get major discounts from is a dealor of magnaflow....Since i need a new xhaust and want performance also....Are magnaflow alright? My set up would be: 2.5 mandrel bent piping with magnaflow hiflow cat and magnaflow race series muffler. What do you think?

Honestly, I don't know anyone who has these, nor do I know how they sound . As long as you get even piping it'll sound nice and even. Deep and powerful!

I think that sounds like a great exhaust set-up. If you have a shop that can do mandrel bends, go for it. Read the article in Sport Compact Car, Nov. 2001, where they do almost the exact same thing you're doing. My set-up is 3" from the turbo back to a 3" muffler in the back. It's all painted high-temp black so you can't see it. No fancy chrome tips for me!

Other than the general "full cat-back systems are always better" remarks, I've heard that Magnaflow exhausts are pretty good.

Magnaflow is for domestics not imports...pretty sure.
