Hey im new to this forum but have been reading for a long time and appreciate all the valuable info on this site. Im from chicago, just to let people know, and wanted to ask if anyone out there has put on a body kit and blended it into the original body ie bondo or such. Ive seen one 240sx that had this done [s13] and thought it was so nice. the seems were flawless and the car looked like it cost 30k. if anyone has please post pic or ideas or comments.

go see Body Werks in Skokie IL.....they do custom body work and will GUARANTEE molding the kit from cracking for LIFE!!! if u just bondo itll look good for a short time but it will crack. they use a special bonding glue. ive heard mostly good bout em, but u always hear some bad. (847) 675-2639

Hi! Where in Chicago are you?

I second yenpit's opinioin; Body Werks will probably do a good job at any body kit installation. It's just lots of bondo glue and lots of handwork.

yeah i heard of body werks, and heard some good things. im still trying to figure out what body kit i want first off, and then what performance route to go, decisions decisions. either stick with the ka24 [more liters, stronger block and after built internally will produce good numbers, and easier to get parts] or go all out with a vg30dett

[which people always rag about weight or something else. im not going to argue or whatever, check out

and for weight, the engine sits not front but mid [behind front axle] , 2 it doesnt weigh much more to make difference, just lighten factory parts. ####, the engine will have less of a weight factor then your 200 lb friend in the passenger seat.

anyways, i live northside chicago. and thanks for the reccomendation on bodyworks.

i have a 93 240sx......man do i love this car.....just changed the oil...and because i do it myself its sooooo
cheap 6 bucks.....which makes me able to change oil every 2000 miles.   however no mods will be done until i ddrive this thing to #### and back. when that motor blows, im making two phone calls...........one to the tow truck service and the other to a performance shop for a VG30DETT conversion
