background: I was fixing my headlight brackets (s13) for silvia headlights, and tightening my fenders up (I've had the front for a while now, first time this has happened). Afterwards, I turned on my lights to make sure everything was plugged in and worked and everything checked out.

problem: Went to pick up grub, lights were on and it was dusk. Realized the gauge cluster wasn't lit up (but everything was working). Opened the door, door doesn't chime. Rear lights don't come on either. I checked fuses, nothing is blown. Where do I look next? (also, I have city lights wired through the corner lights, so is it possible if a wire frayed and shorted is it possible that this caused the problem? without blowing a fuse?)

Check to see if the battery is dead?

Also, the some of the interior electronics use the fuse labeled "room lamp" or something like that.

maybe I should rephrase that...I drove the car to get food..with the headlights on.

if it isnt one of the fuses in interior fuse box it will be one of the fuses or fusible links in the relay box by the battery.

there are no relevant fuses in that box. no interior fuses are blown either.

I checked my corners this morning, one did have some fraying, possibly looking like it could have shorted out. I re-did my wiring, still nothing.

Any help?
