Hi all.
I have this USED Cusco/Exedy twin plate clutch, for the SR20DET's, for sale.
I got this clutch from a local guy who bought it USED from Japan, and intended to use it in my car, but i just broke my transmission, so priorities have changed.
PROS:
The clutch is in great shape, and appears to have minimal wear.
The clutch disks have very little singns of wear (if any), as are the friction plates.
No evident hot spots, which implies NO ABUSE.
CONS:
There is one bolt missing from the Cover plate - i guess it got lost some where. You could get these bolts at any local hard store, or a whole NEW bolt kit from Cusco or Exedy for about 54$ at www.rhdjapan.com (http://www.rhdjapan.com)
On one of the disks, there is what appears to be some surface scratches, around the center, on the side facing the flywheel.
The Scratches are not really feeled with my finger nail, but they are there.
I would imagine they must have been caused by a flywheel bolt not properly torqued down, and comming loose.
I dought its anything to worry about, but i have to point it out.
Worst case cenarion - a brand new disk is only about 250$.
On the Flywheel side where it bolts to the crank, there is what appears to be some metal spots stuck to the flywheel - probably from the crank, or something..... a slight file of the area, would easly remove the spots.
All in all, the clutch is in pretty good shape.
I originaly intended to Get a rebuild kit because i like to have everything brand new, But its not really needed as you can see from the photos.
Anyway, i have to pay for a gearbox instead.
These clutches sale for about 1700$ around the net.
I think 800$ would be a fair price.
Unfortunatly, as i live quite far from the US, the shipping will be about 100$.
So 900$ shipped, PAYPAL ONLY.
Let me know if you have questions, or reasonable offers.
