Will Metra 99-7417 dash kit fit s13?

I'm looking for a dash mounting kit since my s13 didn't come with the brackets and all I got is a big hole sitting in the center console.

Would the Metra 99-7417 kit work? It SEEMS like it would but not sure and its the only one I could find in stores.

yes - its a replacement for the stock brackets, I had that in my car when i had a head unit

yeah it'll fit but it sucks..try to find the original radio brackets here or at a junkyard. they're much better, secure the radio better and fit better.

What he said ^. Also if you decide to use the kit please make sure to ground the radio to the chassis, the OE unit grounds through the brackets which you will no longer be using, so without a chassis ground you'll be seeing a ground through the antenna cable, introducing noise and static.

I already grounded it straight to the chassis behind the radio. Its all hooked up just need a mount for it now.

As for the junk yard idea I was there and all the 240s are mostly trashed and have nothing good on them. I'll try looking at some different ones if its really that much better.

You can get the brackets from Nissan for about that price.

Or at least you could in 02. Or 01. Fuck it's been a long ass time since I bought those damn things.
