Sorry to hear that. Online shopping is always a risk but going thru PayPal gives you some hope of getting your money back. I had an issue with someone that took my money and took about a week to reply once to my multiple PMs. I reported him (after about a month since taking my money) with PayPal and they emailed him notifying him that someone had started a claims against him. I also tried getting in touch with him through PayPal's dispute "program" (not sure what to call that) in which i try getting in touch with him using the email he has provided to PayPal and doing this through the PayPal website. In other words so they can moderate the communication we had. I emailed him two times thru PayPal as well as PMed him on the website he was selling his goods from. No responce to my two emails nor to PayPal's email notification of the dispute I started cause PayPal to side with me, but they then informed me that they could not get my money back. I was bummed but the upside to this was that about two weeks after PayPal notified me that they could not get my money back they notified me again informing me that the amount owed to me was on my PayPal account.

The amount owed was for some R/C stuff i bought which is pocket change compared to what some of you guys lose out on scams. I try to play it as safe as possible and just do my homework before buying from stores or well know shops. I try to steer clear from private sellers unless they have a long and very good reputation, and i stick to giving these guys my business. I prefer to help out the mom n' pop shops over the big stores. And when I buy from independent vendors, even though they have a long and good reputation I will only stick to PayPal if i cant pick up the goods.

Hope you get your goods or money back.
