Does anyone know how much i am supposed to torque the bolt that holds the rear shock of a S13 in place, I have it at 20lbs no but i am not sure.

Alot more than 20 lbs...is it the bolt on the bottom of the shock??? I imagine that shit is atleast 90 lbs.

88-98 ft-lbs

65-80 lbs for the 91-94
Torque 12 mm nuts 13 lbs
14mm locking nut 15 lbs
17mm bottom nut 75 lbs

you are reading the nm unit. ft lbs is the last two numbers in brackets. they are giving you 3 number in different units. ft lbs is the last one.

12-14 ft-lbs for the two nuts on top. 65-80 ft-lbs for the nut and washer on the bottom.

I dont have my FSM infront of me,
but arent the FRONT shock top mount bolts torqued somewhere around 35lbs?
Reading the rears were 14 is making me worried

yes. the struts have higher torque all round
