Are the 180sx Front Calipers still a single piston, and how big is the piston(s)?
And do they need any custom fabrication, or special brake lines, etc.

American racing wheels are 15x6.5 (I'll have to check again becasue it's in storage). They do not have tires (bald).

The 180sx calipers are direct bolt on, they come with the lines and everything needed to bolt on. I'm not sure how big the pistons are (haven't measured), but visually they are bigger than the stock US 240sx single pistons. The jdm also have bigger brake rotors.

Email me at [email protected] for more information on the block or any of these parts because I rarely come visit this forum.

Oh yeah, s15 headlights have been sold.

hey archangel,
the 180sx brakes are quite a bit bigger.. the rotor is at least an inch ro so bigger and the caliper is a larger single piston unit. bolts right up with no problems and provides much better braking performance..one thing though as is with the 300z brakes the pedal is a little softer but that should be remedied with stainless lines(i haven't installed the lines yet on my car) they use 89 -newer maxima pads..and 4 lug altima rotors. I am running metal master pads and powerstops on mine and they are really nice now.

Sorry to hijack the thread..
