I want to get my heater working, I'm a cali-boy & I can't take this cold:ghey:
What all do I need to get my heater working?
I want to get my A/C working, I'm a cali-boy & I can't take the heat:ghey:
If I were to buy just the compressor, what should I be looking for to attach to the compressor.
Thanks in advance.

for heater, you need:
heater core, blower motor, and heater core hoses.
for a/c you need:
compressor, condensor, evaporator, lines, core, and some other shit i can't remember.
ps. i have a full a/c setup from a 89 coupe for sale. worked when pulled.

Ok,..so you've left out quite a bit of info.
What kind of car,..What dosen't it have that you know of.Why was it not working to begin w/ that you know?
After that & depending on the answers - for A/C you will need an KAE COmpressor and a Redtop SR comp bracket and 2-3 bolts of the 4 (on the Compressor) will line up - Charge A/C and Done.**Depending**
Heat,..well what does the car do when you turn it on.Maybe the Blower Door or Servo motor is Dead and will not open the Door for heat??
Need more Info.

How much for the A/C setup & what do I need to have it fit on to an SR.

I do apologize for the lack of provided information.
I have an 89 240SX. It doesn't have A/C because it wasn't on the engine when my mechanic ordered it from wherever he order's his engines from.
As for the heating, I'm not quite sure what the deal is because I can't quite remember what my mechanic said but I think my heater core is still intact (i see 2 rusting tubes in the firewall) but I don't know what else I need.
So I'm 100% sure that I don't have all of the components for both A/C & Heat, so (as of now) it isn't a problem with anything I do have.
---
Another question, which belt do I need once I get the A/C.

The heat simply requires the heater hoses to be connected to the heater core. There's plenty of kits online with the proper hoses/fittings for an SR into a US chassis. Whoever put your engine in just looped the coolant. Un loop it and connect as required. Simple.
A/C depends on what parts you have on the car and what's been wired up. As said you can use SOHC parts along with SR parts or weld/braze new lines and use all SR parts.
