Ok I'm curious if anyone has any pictures of this or knows much about the swap. Probably about a year ago there was a guy on here who lived in japan and had done the swap on a friends car and said he had pics of it, but i never saw them. I know its supposed to be a pretty good fit, and the Type-M headlights are projector headlights.

any info?

It was acually on a 180SX body.

no, i twas actually an s14. he had a pic that showed how they fit in there just fine (i think you had to redrill the mounting holes), but he never showed the picture promised of what the finished product looks liek with them both on the car (or i never saw it if he did).

i dont think the type-m's would work in a 180sx, but that'd be pretty interesting to see

I think that thread is too old to bring up, but it did not come out even close if i remember correctly. There was at least 2 inches of space between the r32 headlight and stock clearcorner.

EDIT: On the s14, there is a large gap. That would require customization.

thanks for pics ryan, not quite what i was looking for but i love those too (what do you call that...an R80 or something? sky80?).

drift into a curb - yeah i think the thread was way too old otherwise search would've found it. did it look really nasty with the gap, or was it something that might look good if it were filled?

mistert, the gap was pretty big because he tried to mount them to the stock points. Also it didn't match up with the s14 clear corners, so you'd have to get r32 corners. Also there was a gap between the hood and head lights, about an 1". Requires custom work, but would probably look cool if you did it right.

..nice and original. I wonder how much custom work had to be done to pull that off. Same fenders?

The r33 headlights look too big for the frontend, kinda uneven if you keep looking at it.

Looks interesting... the R32 lights seem a bit too small though eh? I wonder if the corner lights would go too.

that's definitely the thread i was talking about. I think it has the potential to look really really nice if it was finished and done correctly

r33 4dr tail lights would look good. They're different from the 2dr. I had a set, but sold them to a sentra owner.
