It felt rotten seeing my car today. It was like saying goodbye to an old friend, but I had to see it in such dismal shape. I could have sat in that broken drivers' seat for days, silent...
There will be another.

There should be a limit on how many 240sx's a person can destroy in a year (or something...)

Now I know why I had had a hard time finding a nice one. Exactly half of the ones my mechanic looked over for me were wrecked.

I think the confusing part is that there are two separate threads when there should be only one. That messed me up initially too. I don't know why the pics were posted in this thread as opposed to the original thread. They are, indeed, sad though. Bummer, dude.
What the FUKC kind of tires are those!?! All season H-speed rating (what, up to 65 mph?!) tires are NOT meant to be pushed at all! Man, I have no idea what you were thinking!
Any suspension mods? ... actually, any mods OTHER than interior/sound??? :o

Those are Kumho Ecsta Supra 712's.. 205/60R15. The tire damage is from sliding over a curb, through some grass, and over another curb, sideways.

damn man you are so fvcking lucky that nothing happened to you. I just hope if anything major happens to me such as an accident i am that lucky. You only get a few chances in life better take advantage of it.

Wow--that's quite a jolt to the rear. I'm very glad your front didn't hit that pole--it would have hurt you pretty bad. How's your neck & back feeling? Mine hurt just looking at those pics. Sorry to hear about the loss :(

Back is fine, ribs are a bit funny feeling, neck is *slightly* sore if I try to move it around in a circle or anything.
ouch.. that sucks... good luck in your quest to finding a new 240

Plano. Believe me, that car meant more to me almost than *I* mean to me. I babied that car... even gave it a kiss goodnight. I will have another S13 but it will never be the same...
And I won't be hitting the speed limiter while cornering on public roads either. I need to take it to the track.

haha, my cousin took out 3 integras in one year. Wrapped one around a tree, another around a light pole. Forget what happened to the last one. I think he just fugged it up pretty bad.

Hey genius, I don't give a rats ass if you believe me about my speed or not. I made this post half in warning to others not to make the same mistakes I did.
And I wasn't *completely* stupid, the street is always unoccupied.

lol, hey man don't sweat his opinions. I mean seriously. It does depend on what kind of vehicle you are in and what exactly happened during the accident. Don't worry about others ignorance. I mean think about it. Between your car and a friggin VW BUG, the damage would be different. We're all just glad you're okay man.

Yeah, I'm sorry... I got a little ****ed off. I'm bummed about my stupidity to begin with, and to have people call me a liar...

being truthful I'd be in your position and have been swearing myself. thats what everybody else is here for to cool my nerves. but as long as you learn the first time don't sweat it. get yourself a new one and go at it again.. just slower.
