I spent a lot of time on the sr20de forum during my B13VE project. The moderators created a Sellers Rating file. All members were encouraged to rate the sellers they dealt with, positive and negative. Sort of like the feedback feature on eBay. It's a great way to check on a sellers past practices before buying and it was instrumental in cutting down on the scams and rip offs. Something every forum should consider adopting.

Just create another topic called Buyer/Seller Ratings. Anybody who buys or sells is encouraged to post about the transaction. For example, if I were to buy an item from you and the transaction was acceptable I'd leave a positive post on your behalf. Of course the opposite also applies :D Seems to keep everyone pretty honest at the sr20de forum

I would NOT RECCOMMEND purchasing from Augusta Customs in Augusta, GA. (www.2fastparts.com). The owners name is Jay. I purchased a sr20 from him that was to include the entire silvia front end conversion... I HAVE BEEN THROUGH HELL, trying to get the conversion (he never responds to calls or emails, always sends me off to voicemail) ... It has Been 8 MONTHS since I bought the swap, and he keeps telling me " my guy in japan hasnt sent me any".. He posts on several forums and on 240sx.org ... Apparently I am not the only person that has had problems with them... But thats other peoples business.... VERY POOR BUSINESS...

This is the sort of transaction that should spark the forum owners to create a Buyer/Seller Ratings opic. It would keep other members from falling victim to the same seller. Check this out:
http://www.sr20deforum.com/forumdisplay.php?s=&forumid=60 It will give you guys an idea of what I'm talking about. I always read through this topic before sending money to a seller I haven't dealt with before.
