i can't seem to find anything regarding this on the forum, i bought some z32 30mm aluminum brakes a while ago, i was cleaning them up and NOW i noticed that one of the bolts circled in the picture is missing... is the caliper not repairable or can i get a new bolt?

no the picture is not mine i used one randomly off google search and circled them... sorry if anyone owns the picture...
PS. the s14 fsm says something about if the caliper is leaking to not replace bolts to get a new caliper... but i dont think its leaking because the old owner did a really bad paint job and the paint was ok on it like if brake fluid would have touch it i think it would have been damaged... so let's say its not leaking...

im guessing that the caliper isnt on your car yet. install them, if they leak get a new one, if not just toss a bolt in it and call it a day. he might have painted over it so that you couldnt see where it was leaking previously.

It's a standard metric bolt, I forget exactly but I want to say it's M10x1.25, I replaced all mine on all four calipers years ago after powdercoating, several of them were heavily corroded. Just get a matching bolt from a hardware store, the dealer does NOT sell them separately.

thanks projectRDM! exactly the words i wanted to read "i did it myself..."
yeah i think he removed it cause it was broken or something, when i bought them he told me one of the bolt broke, i removed it you can find it in any hardware but i thought he was talking about the ones that hold the caliper to the bracket not those...
yeah i just wanted to check if they could be removed and replaced without any damage to anything
thanks!

Make sure the new bolt is coated in some way, otherwise it will corrode as well and stain the caliper. I made that mistake the first time.

over here most bolt are zinc coated (i think it's zinc) is that ok for use on the brakes? not much variety in PR, most people just like stuff cheap not quality so i have to suck on whatever is available most of the times...

Zinc is fine.
