Well i will start off saying that i was an idiot came into a parking lot a little to fast and didnt see a median in the very beginning and hit it and messed up my oil pan now.
Its an SR20DET swapped s13

I had two mechanics that happen to live right next door come look at it they told me that the oil pan was probably pushed up against the fly wheel and that i needed to pull the engine and as long as everything internal was fine that all i would have to do was replace the oil pan.
The big problem im having is that i dont have the money to pay someone else to pull my engine and replace the oil pan so intern im going to have to do it myself i know pulling an engine is not the easiest thing in the world but im going to have to do it i have a few people that can kind of direct me if any problems arise i was just wondering where i should begin i have the front mount intercooler pulled off and the radiator. I have the wiring harness all pulled back and off of the engine. and i have the hood off. If i could just get a little bit of guidance i would greatly appreciate it

1) don't hit things with your car

2) the part of the pan that gets hit when you crash into stuff is the lower pan (the black part) - this is nowhere near the flywheel

3) with the engine in the car, drop the lower oil pan - if the oil pickup is knocked loose, replace it http://www.frsport.com/Nissan-OEM-S13-SR20DET-Oil-Strainer--Oil-Pickup-Tube-for-Oil-Pump-_p_1136.html + http://www.frsport.com/Nissan-S13-S14-S15-Oil-Strainer-Pickup-Gasket---Replaces-O-Ring-_p_7721.html - this is tricky to do while the engine is in the car. If the oil pickup looks fine, just replace the pan.

4) used oil pans are cheap on the forums (find someone that upgraded to Greddy/etc), or you can buy a new one Nissan Factory OEM SR20DET Oil Pan (http://www.frsport.com/Nissan-Factory-OEM-SR20DET-Oil-Pan_p_1102.html)

i dont think you need to pull out the whole engine dude...... try replacing the pan while the engine is in the car

them two guys that live next to you are retards.. the oil pan is not even close to the fly wheel.

yeah, aka drop the sway bar, or if you really need to, your tension rods and subframe brace

the pan is not so hard, but your pickup will be a bitch if you gotta do it.

and yeah, those "mechanics" are dumb
