Anyone else gone to see this movie I recommended it to anyone its such a great movie. This movie is worth the $9.50 they charge at the theater its kinda long about 2 hours and 45 min but its so worth it.

Here's what its about...
"I was born under unusual circumstances." And so begins "The Curious Case of Benjamin Button," adapted from the 1920s story by F. Scott Fitzgerald about a man who is born in his eighties and ages backwards: a man, like any of us, who is unable to stop time. We follow his story, set in New Orleans from the end of World War I in 1918, into the 21st century, following his journey that is as unusual as any man's life can be.

Yeah I saw it yesterday and enjoyed it too. They did a good job on the teenager Brad Pitt. Almost looked like the Brad Pitt from Thelma and Louise back in the 80s haha. And Cate Blanchett is so hot to me after watching this. I wanna love her.

it was a good film, it dragged a bit in the beginning and a bit towards the end. Should not have been as long as it was. The middle of the film was great,though I am not raving about it being a absolutely fantastic film, partly because of what I stated above.

Not a bad movie. It was shot well, and I'd expect no less from director David Fincher. According to some ppl who have read the book though, the film places more emphasis on the love story than Benjamin's life interactions with other ppl during different stages of his life.

As a love story, it was more effective than most. There were some funny moments, and some sentimentally touching. i enjoyed how the circumstances allowed for a different take on romance. As a drama, it didn't feel particularly convincing or powerful. I think I would have preferred the film, if there was less romance and more interpersonal drama. Although Pitt was decent in the film, I felt he also gave it a Hollywood feel that was more difficult to take seriously. Blanchchett (sp?) was very well cast though. I wouldn't consider it one of Fincher's best work, but it's solid overall, entertaining, and well made film.

This is a film that also works a lot better if you watch it in a good movie house. I'd have to agree it's worth the admission.
Be sure to go to a place that has decent popcorn, as the film goes very well with it.

Did anyone else notice that Pitt seemed to get younger and young but Blanchchett didn't see to age but then out of no where she gets all old. my gf and I were like OK Pitt looks younger but the chick stayed the same, were like "when is she gonna start getting older?"

There actually was some CGI done to Blanchett when she was younger, although the effects were more subtle.
She did look really good for a supposedly 43yr old though. This actress must keep herself in great shape in real life.

I saw it last night.
Very fun movie. Didn't mind the length of it at all.

I was wondering how they would portray him as the movie went on. They did a great job when he met up at the dance studio after leaving for years.

I highly recommend this movie.

saw it... fell asleep twice for like a brief 3 mins round the end....

only funny ass part (and probly the only part that kept me awake) was the dude getting struck by lightning. by the end of watching the movie, u could learn something moral. i felt like i should be more humble.. bout it..

I give it a solid 9 out of 10 also. I usually have trouble sitting through long movies, but I didn't even notice this one was long. I was hooked. Great date movie too.


Also, I found $10 in the parking lot when it was over! How many movies can you say give you $10 back when you're done watching them? BITCHIN!

it was better than i thought it was gonna be..
and it was a lot more jokes in the movie than i thought there would be.
