RX8 rims..

So i searched this and couldnt find anything so here it goes. I found a set of rx8 wheels for cheap locally and was wondering if they will fit on my hatch. the offset is high, like 50 i think, but will have spacers to give it 30 or maybe lower offset.. Thanks alot. oh and a picture on a 240 would be great.

you can't lower offset on wheels unless they are multi-piece.
i believe the RX8 wheels are all the same width.
if you put too think of a spacer, you need to get extended
studs AND factory lug nuts to sit properly on ball seated OEM wheels.

your hatch is 4 lug
the rx8 im pretty sure is 5 lug
unless u did a 5 lug conversion they will not fit

just get some bolt on spacers

and stack them.

The offset on them is +50 last time I checked.

Size is 18x8 all around, about 19.8-20 lbs a piece.

If you do get them you should re-do the color.

For the cost of wheels, spacers, studs, lug nuts, paint, and whatever else you decide to do you can buy a set of wheels that actually fit the car and don't require a lot of jank parts.

It sounds like you are defensive about the choice that you pretty much have your mind set on. It is your car. Buy it and make it fit but keep quiet about it. Post it here and you will get the response you already have been receiving. Stock wheels are not used as winter rims for 8 owners as they are too big, most owners downgrade to 17x7 w/ blizzak tires.

I like the 8's stock rims and it only cost me 40 bucks to paint all 4 of them and it will last me a long while. Not to mention they are VERY lightweight at 20 lbs each for an 18x8 rim.

FWIW, DON'T buy RX-8 rims. They wont look good on a 240 anyway.
