So i dont really have time these days to go to all the hangouts and stuff(sorry. work and life) but my ka is starting to shit the bed and i figured why not take advantage of this and do an easy SR swap(daily driving).....but i dont know any reputable places around here.
Any advice would be great. Thanks in advance.

hi, we are located right in Baltimore, MD which is only about 1 hour or so from NOVA. We actually have a lot of NOVA customers so the drive cant be that bad.
SR swap is no sweat... feel free to email me:

Yeah, pretty much MA-Motorsports is your best option. There are other shops around but they are in no way to be considered reputable.

Yes, Brian W is probably the most knowledgeable person I know about the SR.

JR doesnt work there...but Brian and Ray handle a LOT of the work for his cars...like building his 2.2L stroker SR
I agree Brian and MA-Motorsports is very reputable and good at what they do. They did my first swap. But just for arguments sake, where I used to work is another good reputable shop in Baltimore......JE Import Performance jeimportperformance.com

have you worked on SR's before or are you familiar with them? If not, you should diy. great way to learn. use swap labor money for parts. what are labor costs going for?

Actually pretty exspenive but with economy not as good as of now probably best time to do one! Can't tell you who would be best considering i never took mine to someone to get done. I think this one place in Maryland i heard was pretty good i will post it on here if i can get the name of the place!

average labor for the swap is around 1500. figuring 16 hours of work at about 90$/hr
