the whole time we were talking about how it felt like something i'd written for creative writing in 8th grade.
i get that the bad acting was an artistic choice. i even like that. but the visual style was godawful. i was expecting sin city, i got a flash animation somebody made that kinda looked like a poor man's sin city. wtf frank miller.
lots of hot girls, and who doesn't like that 40's trick style. but man.
the only good thing that came out of this was samuel jackson in a diamond-encrusted nazi uniform.

last movie i saw in a theatre was borat. like 9.50 for the ticket, and large drink and popcorn was $8-9, went to hit up the random vending machines, $3 for a 20z. and they wonder why people try to sneak shit in? but does remind me, i forget what movie it was, but one time i was sitting next to some dude who snuck a bottle of crown in and a whole burgerking meal.

That was some far-out shit. I didn't see half of the stuff in that movie that I saw coming. I agree the storyline was like an 8th grade project, but i've seen worse movies.

Movie theaters generally won't stop you from bringing food in due to the fact that they're only advantage over competitors is their customer service. Same movies play everywhere but customers are probably going to go to the nicer place. Around here I know that they are allowed to post signs but employees are told strictly not to keep people from bringing drinks in.
On the other hand, haven't seen the movie but it looks okay. Might see it with some friends.

we got a theater out here, 18/ticket - gets you on the balcony, where there are waiters/waitresses, and you can order food (damn near anything you want), drinks (alcoholic if you want) - You've gotta be 21 to get up there, the seats are plush as hell and there's plenty of room between yourself and the others folks.

From my understanding, theaters make their money from food, not the tickets.

Muvico just bought out the local chain here. so it's a good thing? rad, because the old management sucked

that's how i roll. walgreens sells movie snacks for cheap, or we go to jack in the box first.

I've always thought eva mendez was hotter than jessica alba.
plus i heard jessica alba is a total biotch, so that's why i'm not dating her atm.

Muvico is the most amazing movie experience ever. I work for Levy Restaurants, and they have contracts with Muvico to run restaurants there. Here's the restaurant that is in the Muvico by me.

They have showings of movies that have in seat liquor service and free popcorn, which they bring to you, but you gotta pay to play.

goddamn.
and that seat design is phenomenal. by putting the cupholders next to each other it's clear who gets what cupholder. that's awesome.
most of the movie theaters here have liquor licenses. but nobody has servers.
my favorite theater in town is an old shriner temple converted. bowling alley in the basement, two bars, one big screen. five rows of leather couches and loveseats, then regular seating and a balcony. at midnight movies they have 2 dollar wells bottles and drafts. they'll even give you a bucket of PBR tall boys if you're feeling hipster-douche enough.
