I have a pignose lip on my 93 coupe. I love the lip from the front, but the side profile looks like shat with the lip so much lower than the rest of the car. I do like the 180sx oem side skirt, but its not an option. So, I plan on pulling some stock side skirts from a junkyard car and fabbing it up. I'm just wondering if any body else has done this before and what stock side skirts would look. I'm considering skirts from a 4th gen accord or maybe 5th gen prelude. Any suggestions?

LOL

Cmon man, just get OEM S13 sideskirt

No need this Accord business

Why is 180sx sideskirt not an option?

There are a ton of OEM S13 sideskirts floating around

I think its better to do it right and buy a side skirt that is made for your car rather than trying to Frankenstein another car's onto it

Maybe if there was a well known option, but afaik there are no junkyard side skirt options for S13 (that make practical sense)

why are the s13 skirts "not an option"?

cant afford them

if you can't afford 200 dollar sideskirts you shouldn't be modifying your car, i hate to say it but modifying something that wasn't made to fit your car will probably cost you more in the long run to make fit right and/or look good than something that was made for the car.

Then I guess go ahead and make something.

It's pretty true that 240 owners these days are cheap as F, so they can't really afford real parts. Maybe you can think something up and start selling some.

Best of luck.

Some of the most creative solutions came from lack of budget or resources. Give it a go.

200 bucks?

Just save up dude. You're 23 so I'm assuming you have some sort of job you can live off. Put aside money from two paychecks, bam, you've got sideskirts, no fuss, no ghetto looking hack jobs.

imo chuki side skirts match pignose lip very well.

honestly, just save up for them. they are not very expensive, as stated above fabbing your own will prolly cost more in the end.

the reality is that oem parts fit perfectly and look clean.

if you can't afford to do it right then maybe its not worth doing at all.

but whatever you choose, good luck.

haha yea home depot thanks bud. What i am envisioning is a small black lip kit. my old accord below, i fitted a front lip from a 5th gen accord. I like the way the accord looks with a low profile black lip all the way around. This is what i am considering doing to the s13, by the way its the same color as the accord.

And some of the ugliest too.
