My SR20DET has this problem where it boosts 0.63 bar instantly, but it doesn't accelerate at all. I don't know what's up. I don't know if it is a boost problem, but I'm going to check tomorrow.

Mods: FMIC, turbo back exhaust, walbro, blitz boost controller

*Follow-up*
While I was checking my base timing with the valve cover off, I decided to look at my spark plugs while I was in there. It turned out that my the spark plug from Cylinder No. 1 was somehow gapped about half of the size the others were gapped to. I regapped and the "full boost, no acceleration" problem was gone. Thanks Exploder39!

what are the other (if any) symptoms? is the car bucking? does it make popping noises?

Steve is right, timing is probably far too retarded.

is there a boost leak? like inter-cooler piping loose or the bolts holding the turbo on the manifold loose? Or it could be timing. Try the little things before you mess with your timing. Good luck

it could be spark blow out depending on your symptoms. Check coils

I'd agree for the most part but i really think he should check his timing if hes never done so. I have a heavy throttle swap SR and i had to redo the timing and they are known for there awesome swaps. It's not that hard. Check the vac lines and IC piping make sure the couplers are nice and tight using a socket. There may be a bunch of small leaks instead of one that would build enogh pressure to blow the piping off. Also check you a/f if you can you maybe in the tune.

Last time I was at full boost and not accelerating it was because my tires were spinning. Just a thought. :P

But definitely more info needed... how is it idling, any odd noises/irregularities?, etc.

check the easiest then go from there.

ex. boost leak then take out plugs and then timing
