I am selling my stock unit off my '98 240SX because my wife bought me a new one for Valentines. I just got the stock 3 disc CD player installed 1 month ago and is brand new. The tape player is a Clarion and features Dolby Noise Reduction and the CD Player is an Alpine. You will receive what is on the picture and an extra cartridge that will fit another 3 CDs. Willing to sell separately or as a unit. Here are the prices:

Tape unit: $50 shipped
CD Player: $90 shipped
Both: $125 shipped

Also selling an Apexi silencer for $25 shipped for the N1 Dual.

Would the silencer fit on the HKS Hiper by any chance? If so, I'm interested!

The silencer will fit a 90mm tip. Measure the inner diameter of your exhaust tip and if it's 3 3/8", it should fit. I did a little research and I saw that it's a 95mm tip so it might not work.

Does the 3 cd changer specifically work with that tape deck? I.E. do I need both to run the changer? I am interested in this setup. Also, does it require a harness or will the stock harness plug right into it (like a stock head unit)?

You will definitely need both unless you already have one of the two. It's a direct plug into an s14, but I'm not sure about the other 240SXs.

I also have the owner's manual so it will show installation and whatever else you may need to know.

I just checked the crutchfield website and they say the wiring harness for aftermarket decks will fit all 84 and up Nissan's, so by that logic, the S14 decks should just plug straight into the S13 harness.

Can someone verify this? If it does, I want the stereo. My tax refund should be here any day now, and when it comes, I will take that off your hands then. (if it fits of course)

installing into an s13 or a non se might be different, cause the factory amps.
