Ok So I pulled "Blacktop SR" wiring harness on my 93SE coupe.Prev owner Installed BTW.

Heres whats new to me.It was a pain in the ass to get out after pulling and pushing, etc - BECAUSE,..There was an extra Plug Still attached inside ,deep into the Corner of the Car sort of near the harness HOLE on the pass side and in the pass side Kick Panel Waaay behind the ECU's location.
here is the Pic of Said Plug:

There's some Kind of OTHER ECU looking thing I've never really seen either.Looks important.Just curious.
All of said wires are Running Into the Fender side portion of the Engine/Fender area.

Here is what was on the HARNESS:

Notice this is Right where The "elbow" is of the harness.
This is New to me because the SR I just installed in FEB on my other car DID not have this Plug what-so-ever.

Thsi car is a HACK Job, (prev owner) that I'm trying to Re-do most of everything and thats why I need to know. This is Diff than my 91 Hatch w/ the SR swap I have.May Purchase a new harness to re-do Just Because,... But THIS part is Diff.

Automatic harness with plug for automatic ECU. Check the TPS plug and you'll notice it's a 6 pin plug. Make sure you have the corresponding 6 pin TPS on the throttlebody to go with it.

Ok...Makes sence.Car prev had an auto Blktop motor - converted to manual.Car was a AUTO to begine w/ as well.
YES has the 6 wire TPS.
Wondering about that also if I could change that out as well.

so,...Does that Plug need to be there or is that for "automatic stuff"????
Say I decide to change the harness w/ a manual harness.I'm guessing it has something to do w/ that little ECU looking thing there w/ it.

It's not needed but you don't have to remove it, just leave it hanging. You can though remove the ATC unit, if anything just for more room.

ATC??

Is that the small ECU looking thing right there pictured above?

Now I need to figure out the whole TPS deal.
Guess I need to switch over to a 3 wire TPS?? - but then my wiring won't match on the harness (i'm sure fixable) and Thats possible correct?

Thanks for all the help.I don't want to get it all back in and then it won't crank because I left that pain in the ass plug off.took me 1hr to get it unplugged!!!!!Its so tight back there.

Yes. The ATC is the automatic transmission controller. You can leave the 6wire TPS, you'll just have an extra plug if you use an manual harness.
