No need for a motorcycle license. you CAN get a moped license though. SUPER EASY.
i have friends that ride without one. not really a big deal since none of them ever get pulled over. i did a wheelie on my other one in front of a cop in a crosswalk and he just laughed at me... lol
top speed on this one is about 35+ish

1) Registration is $18. If you send in $17 you're just delaying the reg.
2) You need an M2 motorcycle license, but can get away with a learner's permit for one year as long as you don't ride at night.
3) Yes, you need insurance.
It's all on California Department of Motor Vehicles (http://www.dmv.ca.gov)
Just sayin'. I had an '80 Bullet. Nice solid mopeds. Now if I can finish my Swinger I'd be happy. GLWS.
if only it had the biturbo exhaust.

one way to get around the insurance thing is carry around the motorcycles handbook. they havent ever updated the moped section so it says all you need is a regular license. know a few people who have it on them at all times with the paper that shows its registered (reg230 app)
and NO its not fast enough for freeways. but for cheap (another $200) you can hit 50mph+ kit carb and pipe.

I'd be willing to offer you $400 for the moped.
Any interest?
