Hi, i recently had a brand new gt2871r installed on my sr20det. after a couple of days of it installed, i was getting on it pretty hard and afterwards noticed smoke from the exhaust. It was burning oil and smoked pretty bad a for a couple of minutes.
I went and checked over everything and noticed my oil return line was slightly kinked. I know the turbo has an ATP oil restrictor on it. so i was thinking maybe the kinked oil drain may have caused oil to blow past the oil seals.
I fixed the kink and started the car. I didnt see any smoke after that and there was no smoke underboost.
If this did occur, do you think i perminately damaged the oil seals in my turbo? Or is it possible that it may have just blown by and the turbo be ok since its not smoking at all anymore?
