How can it have an RB when it supposedly came from an S15? Don't all S15s have SRs?
And $100,000 can't be found anywhere in that car.

the s15 was rb swapped. but i like how they say they can't mention the movie, but they have that big ass sticker of the movie on the back window. genious.
that can't be the same car. doesn't look show ready in any way.

approximately 200 miles during making of a recent major motion picture. By contract we can’t say which one.

I own the movie and have seen it quite a few times. Just never noticed it was swapped I guess.
now, it was actually very good advertising... they can't say in writing what movie the car was in, but that doesn't mean you and I can't read for ourselves something on the car.

hmmm.....
Anyways I dunno I think the rb swapped mustang is pretty cool, but that's probably because I like bastard cars for some reason.

wouldn't surprise me if this was a clone.. someone looking to cash in.. car just looks half ass put together... engine definitely doesn't look freshly rebuilt.

and i COULD see 60-70K into the car. depending how shitty the car was when they got it.

ahhhh no wonder.. theres a guy with a purple fc who jus got his car in the upcoming movie, and he does not say a word about it being in there on rx7club, must be under contract to not say shit about it.
I dont think it will sell more then 30k.. thats just my idea.. no mustang purist will buy that pos. esp when you could probably better spend your money on a Eleanor replica.
here we go

If it is a clone, it's a really good clone. Heres a shot of the engine bay from the movie car. I think its the same one.

Haha, I was working for Chris Milano when they used his RB25 for the sounds for this movie, and saw the car during filming... was like "WTF is a Mustang doing in the FF3 movie?"
Then I went to the launch, and literally laughed when that scene came up.
At least the recreation HyperTek posted has IRS.

100,000 easy.
they gotta buy the car
the skyline engine
all the parts
build it
fab stuff
paint
shipping
and since its studio money, theres no bargaining. If the car was over priced, they will still buy it. They also needed multiples.
anyone at studio level/union is making about 500 a day. And thats everyone that works on it.
If the car gets transported, they need a transportation guy to do it, and transpo union makes alot!
So it needs a guy there everyday just incase it needs to go from A to B.
And every department is like this.
So you can see how quikly the money starts to add up
Movie budgets are crazy. And now you can see why.
