Tirerack.com..crappy selection

Alta in socal is a great place to buy rims...
But um...your not in socal. that sucks. :(
Go wide...7inch is not wide
Go lower CORRECT offset
and
Go Deep dish :)
and don't go konig or tenzo R
Longchamps are NOT made by SSR. :) Longchamps is, AFAIK its own company. I think you're looking for the Longchamps XR-4. Just a heads up.

i have mesh for sale! 15" SSR gold reverse mesh to be exact. great offset and condition! there's a post somewhere in classifieds... if you're interested that is. if you're REALLY looking for long champs, i could probably get a hold of a set for you. email me and we'll talk!
as for alta...
alta in socal does NOT always have good prices. ever since initial d they've been jacking up the prices on all of the 'popular' types of wheels. there's a reason why they don't always post the prices... they usually size you up before giving you a quote. alta is great for locating rims, just make sure your car isn't all riced up when you pull up to their driveway. i know a few people that have been quoted $1200 for a set of 15" ssr mesh. :o
also www.wheelchoice.com is a good place for used jdm wheels. they don't always post their stock on the site, just give them a call, they take requests.
happy rim whoring,

what do you mean about alta sizing you up? do they look at you and see if you got the looks of a man who has money? oh well if that so, i will dress up like a beggar and see if they will give a set of wheels that i want at the price i can afford. i gotta wear my jeans with big butt holes and shoes with soles that flap!:D

initial s14: well, what i meant was, if you're 16 years old, rolling up in a bling'ing FD with a big wad of your dad's money, they'll probably quote you a little higher... just because you'll seem like you don't know better, and can probably afford that ignorance. the alta guys are great, very nice people, but they're still businessmen. once they get to know you, it's hard to keep from buying a set of wheels a week from them.
p.s. don't go to alta! don't take away my selection...
happy haggling,

geez i was just kidding.. do you think i will truly go out there with big butt holes in my pants to earn their pity? besides, i will not go there and steal your selections. i have saved a picture of the wheel that i want from them when their website was still up and running. it will be pre ordered once i have the bling bling..;)

haha... i didn't mean YOU personally! i was just speaking in general... too bad they don't update their site at all, or else i'd save a lot of money from the gas i spend going there every month just to drool over their stuff. :p
dang it... haven't been there for weeks... i'm starting to feel deprived. :(
