I want to refresh the body on my car because it has a few dings/dents and paint peeling on the front bumper. I was also thinking about repainting the whole car. I want to stay in grey colors. Should I keep the two-tone or not. If not what color do you suggest me. I was thinking about Mazda Protege speed 2003-5 titanium. The car will also have pignose lip and CDM sideskirt and probably hanabis wheels.

Any help and suggestions is greatly appreciated.(sorry for the bad english)

I would side with the two tone crew. You have a rare beast there that looks good. Keep it that way. As for wheels? Do whatever you want. Just don't repaint the car a different color. If it was a solid one color car it would not matter. If I had a two tone coupe I would never repaint it anything but the two tone.

I wouldn't even re-paint it if it looks like that still. Just slam it and get some nice wheels. TE's, Regas, or some deep dish kinda sum'n

Keep it two-tone! I'll be respraying my two-tone down the road but it's staying the same. Once a two-tone, always a two-tone!

Yeah, keep it.

As long as your car isn't a hatch 2 tone will always look good.

As long as you don't have like CRAZY aero kit.

I think it's pretty clear. Yes it's the original paint from 89....original jdm s13 too. As for the wheels....I'm on a pretty low budget and I want an okay offset. 17x9 +20 with a 10mm spacer in the back will look ok I guest and 17x9+20(aka falken hanabis in silver).

Also....who want to trade CDM oem side skirt for silvia OEM sideskirt?

I will also look for bings rear valence....and lower it more.......and my ricer heart couldn't resist clear/smoked tails.

When it was lower........

i hate you. but seriously, speaking from some one that has that same 2-tone. keep it the same color. i had re-sprayed mine, but it was re=sprayed the original color to make it look a little fresher. but yours looks incredibly clean.

I'm in the same predicament as this guy.....Only i've got a USDM 240.....not a Silvia.

I kinda wanna do a onevia with a kit...but then i would almost have to repaint solid because aftermarket front bumpers look lame with 2 tone

so that leaves me with keeping it pignose, or doing a silvia front with OEM jdm aero. (either Q's or Aero if i'm lucky enough to find some for a good price)

but it looks like i'm gonna hafta leave it 2 tone if i ever wanna come back on zilvia again :keke:

C. Senor

people were telling me to do the kouki 180 front on my coupe, so the color lines would still flow. so you can look into that. i stayed pignose. i personally like it that way. piggy front with oem aero. that's where it's at.

Oh Canada, don't do this to me.

The car rubbed everywhere. This was too low....but next year it will be close to that....

Maybe out of subject....but can someone give me ideas for good offset wheels in 4 bolt ....dont wanna pay 2000 also.

solid says less than 15

Hopping on the bandwagon late, as usual... Keep the two tone. Two tone makes coupes look SO much lower/longer and better... Solid colors can be hit or miss, IMO. Don't go super-flashy on the wheels. Something 16/17" range with a mild offset. Enough to put some meat on the wheels and fill it out a bit. Classy ride!

honestly, look into PDR (paintless dent removal) If you have trouble finding a guy who can do it, call up local dealerships, they use them all the time. The dents on your door don't look too terrible, and you can get the front bumper repainted for prob a few hundred dollars.

If the clear is ok on the car itself, I wouldn't really paint it.

I found a 2 tone coupe and bought it before i even realized what it was. All i knew is that i wanted an S13 coupe and i ended up with a perfectly stock well maintained 2 tone. Although i paid more than it was worth...

oh geez lol now i simply can't flat black my two-tone, or the TTMafia will rape me haha

Now I want some good sizing 17'' wheels in 4 bolt and other 2-tone pics for ideas!

17"s in 4 lug, in decent sizing....hmm....

Rota P45R (sick sizing for 4 lug 17x9.5 +12, and 17x9 +something)

Work Emotion XD9 (also sick sizing for 4 lug, and then you won't have the ROTA haters on your nuts all the time...can get 17x9.5 +12 IIRC, and also 17x9 +something)

Falken Hanabi (pretty sure you already mentioned these...17x9+20)

I'll post more when i think of them
