Is anyone here a fun of dumped air cooled beetles? I am personally a fan of the dumped/rat rod ones and an actually thinking of picking one up. Pictures or info i should know would be cool

They're cool in that slow and odd kind of way.

Not sure if I would get one if it was my only means of transportation.

My old computer died and took all my pics with it, the tex has a shit load of awesomeness.

I like beetles, ive owned 6. they are fun to mess with, you can use them for all kinds of stuff, off roading,cruising, drag racing. they are surprisingly tough, but they are usually about 40+ years old and finding a clean one is getting harder and harder. i only own one now and dont plan on buying anymore because i have a habit of destroying them. Check out thesamba.com there are alot of used bugs and ghias for sale.

I had ours in quite a few wet fields, up quad paths, and in snow(with absolutely shite tires) where the only thing I would see was 4wd trucks.

That weight distribution thing seems to work out pretty well.
