Ok guys i have a guestion my car has been bogging down quit a bit lately and has a rough idel and coming to a stop.. The car bogs under load and is holding back and my wideband is staying at 14.4 under wide open... I am getting code 21 (ignition signal) on the ecu witch is a e5.. I put a Redtop (62) ecu in and it seemed to run better still bog but kicked in around 4500 5000 rpm and that ecu was throwing code 34 (Knock sensor)... My question is should i run the E5 ecu and fix the ignition signal? also how do you fix that?? sorry.

check your coils, sparkplugs, and timing. Then check ignition module and coil pack wiring.

14.4 is lean under wide open throttle. So your not gettin enough fuel. Ignition is probably ok. That knock sensor is going off because you are running lean, but I dont know how that works. Your knock sensor goes off and I think it slows the engine down when it goes off. Id check fuel.

Well here the deal one of the wires was cut on the o2 wired it back up and car ran good even runing rick. Spiting black smoke to wide band still at 14. After about 30 min. It stops no black smoke bogging again... And I tested the widband in another car and it worked fine.. Any ideas

I would try changing your spark plugs after that and maybe changing your o2 sensor. Not 100% sure but soldiering the o2 sensor could mess up the signal.

Is the wideband perhaps behind a cat?

sounds like a weak fuel pump

can you just switch around redtop and blacktop ecu's?

What harness do you have?

That is a good point. There is no way it would work with both ecu's.
