okay so my reverse lights dont work when i put it in rev gear. i know there are a couple of plugs on the tranny but i want to know which one goes where? the lower hardness is still KA and i have a SR trans. can someone help me with this.

Dind ding ding, we have a winner! It is the front switch and it is common for the wires to break inside the rubber boot.

Use a multimeter and measure continuity between the 2 wires. When not in reverse, there should be no continuity. When in reverse, there should be continuity.

If no continuity exists in reverse, the wires are broken, the switch is broken, or you have the wrong switch.

there is only two plugs and they should only reach the plugs they are meant for or atleast mine did i had same problem just fixed it last week. hope this helps

This is all you need to know. Too much hand holding. There are only a few switches on the gearbox.
