i have a 96 obd2 s14. alright well i am following a write up from a guy on this site and i am a little confused. i have everything wired up exactly to what he wrote and the only part i am stuck on is his ecu relay. he said on the f3 power plug from the ka use the solid red wire and connect that to the two red wires on the ecu relay from the ka. well when i looked at the f3 plug i have, i have two solid red wires
here is a link to the f3 plug pinout file://localhost/C:/Documents%20and%20Settings/AE86/Desktop/f2%20plug%20diagram.html
the red wire on pin 17 says red, battery lead to eccs relay
the red wire on pin 20 says red GST port
which red wire do i use to connect to the two red wires on the ecu relay plug?
any help would be appreciated thanks

well for one you cant post images from your computer... try Image hosting, free photo sharing & video sharing at Photobucket (http://www.photobucket.com), etc and upload it.
these two plugs need to be pulled through the grommet to wire up to the f3 plug.

Do one plug at a time, all of the colors should match up, he states in the write up that the pin out for the f3 plug was incorrect. So with that mindfuck in mind I have yet to find a proper write up explaining how they biffed that one.
here is some more stuff to blow your mind.
have fun dude.
s13 sr into s14 kouki, where is pin for a/c on/off switch? (http://www.ziptied.com/forums/index.php?topic=11970.0)

I don't have exact pictures but the wires you're looking for should be running from the ecu plug itself.

Common sense would tell you to use pin 17, after all it's the lead to the ECCS relay which is what you're inquiring about.
Pin 20 is for the OBD port. You won't use it.

Whats funny is the Phi (guy that wrote it aka nrg) was at my house helping me lay out my harness, and I showed him that write up when he was sitting down with the harness and he even went... WTF!!!
lol dumb ass.
I will most likely re-do a write up or get some detailed pictures of what to connect for people who have these questions in the future. There were so many how-to's I wrote up for honda's back in the day and as long as photobucket doesn't shit the bed my information will always remain available and any info I nabbed along the way.

No, I am sure. If you're missing a red wire, that's the only one.

yeah.. I have a 1996, you're basically converting the car to whatever smog system is in place with the sr's which doesn't really even matter anyway as it runs since the car is no longer street legal now.
