Why the no go on the e-fan? [G20 fans with altima harness is purrrrfect]

Why did you do that to the coils?
What did you do have to do for the wiring of the haltech?
Are you having a shop tune the haltech?
Getta heatshield =]
[p.s. I'm not talking shit, simply curious]

pretty nice, u just pretty much use the S13 hot pipe and intercooler setup?
you are not running any BOV at this moment are u?

I saw you hooked up the coolant line for the T25, which route did you use?
and finally, you still have the bumper support? aka the 5mph bumper?

dirtdiggler666

altma fans ummm i just said fuck it people allways told me they sometimes over heat the engine.

i just got a s14 sr kit and just had to mod the cold pipe

sorry no coolent lines and no bumper support

do what to the coils????

heatshield yes i will

ummm their is not plug and play kit so yes you have to wire it up yourself if thats what your asking

and yes i am going to have a shop tune it i do not have a dyno nor do i know how to tune haltech

hope that covers all the q's

props on your setup, i ran the E6s on mine. the DOS program is pretty easy. the wiring isnt that difficult. its way better than modding the OE harness plus its way much cleaner. the haltech isnt that hard to tune once you find the base maps. i think i still got maps from my setup if you need a starting point. you can also use CBR coils also for a cleaner look besides the ls1 or infiniti coils. the cbr's fit perfect. do you plan to delete your dizzy?

I would run the feed line above the mount.

e8 and only using a t25 and 370s? I mean, legit.. but ready for more power. Especially since you went with coils.

dirtdiggler666
12-08-2008, 05:19 PM
well for the e8
used ls1 coils
trim knob
and the boost con i would say about 1500.00

and trust me i posed this over at ka-t.org and got shit from some people.i guess if you dont have a huge t4 turbo and a aem they dont like you.

but the why i fugured it i wanted to setup everything for when i build a engine all ihave to do is drop it in injectors better manifold and turbo and a tune and im set.

but we will see what this little t-25 can do with a haltech im sure im the first:goyou: and on top of that we will see how long this old ka lasts.

Nice. I'm doing similar except keeping the small turbo after the build.
And not an E8. I wish though.

ya my plan as soon as the car comes back from the dyno to start building my other ka with all the goodies bla bla gt3071r bla bla. but i do not drive this car on the street my plan is just to track it. willow springs is about 15 min from me but tires are gunna kill me.

ill have some new pics up tomorrow night if i get time i only have a few day to get some shit done befoure its on its way to the shop.

exactly what i was thinking.

mothon
12-09-2008, 10:04 PM
thats pretty much the same way i had to route mine when i was running a t25, never had any problems with it.

12-09-2008, 10:17 PM
the gaskets between the manifold and head you ll want to change to cometic steel or copper mr gasket, mine blew out all the time untill i switched to a metal gasket, same with the one between the turbo and manifold, i used the nissan oem t25 gasket becuase it was metal and it stopped blowing out.

12-09-2008, 10:20 PM
u guys mean the drain?

yah i do mine over the mount also
almost same spot as in pic

isn't race gas bad for a daily driven car or something like that. cant remember what I saw concerning that.

its not my dd track only

race gas for a dd alone would make anyone broke but thank god a get a good deal on it:yum:

My ka-t with t25, sr370's, n60 mafs, and calum rt ecu put down 232whp, and 240wtq on 7.5 psi and the stock tune calum sent. I have dyno sheets and a thread over on ka-t.org same username if you want to check it out. I would go ahead and run coolant lines on the turbo. You can just take the ones off the intake manifold that heat the throttle body. Run two rubber lines to the turbo then use the stock sr20 coolant lines, cut the ends off that run to the motor. Using a brake line bender bend the lines to however you need them then hose clamp. This is how mine is and everything runs fine.

Do you need a T fitting then?

Unisa Jecs posted a really good thread on how to run lines to your turbo.

i will prob not have the t25 on not for that long and for the price of the lines i could buy another t25 so fuck it. but for the next turbo i will for sure use the lines.

i wonder how his engine is holding up anyways? dyno?

12-10-2008, 08:34 PM
Lookin good. Im interested to see what a standalone T25 setup can put on a dyno. You gonna dyno it using a dynojet? mustang dyno? other?

if it was a fresh engine it would be really good but with 120k you just dont know when its gunna go.

Markdawg20
01-10-2009, 11:10 AM
120k is low miles. I just did mine with 167k on the o-dot!

Ninjabread
01-10-2009, 11:26 AM
haha my beater s14 has 200k miles

Should I turbo it? Jokes.

Are you still using those injectors i sent you? Hope they are working out!

01-10-2009, 11:27 AM

Haltech > EMS IMO.
Very nice and properly done car, good number on the roller too.
Might be the most overkill T25 KA ever.

dirtdiggler666
01-10-2009, 08:17 PM
i know haltech is ems derrrrrrrr they just only run aem over their.

ninjabread yes they are your 370s running at 85 duty cycle

that was at 10 psi then the turbo runs out of air and drops to 8 or 9

LOL at 2 years.

But Max HP at 5200... Fuck the KA cams/head
With cams i wonder if he could have hit 270-280hp on a t25.

Of course with bigger injectors.
