View Full Version : 30 mm socket...to remove axles

I need to either borrow or purchase a 30 mm socket to remove my axles.
Let me know if you guys have any, or any other way to safely remove the nut.

autozone has it for less than 10 and btw its a 36

every time i need tools i just buy them. i got my 36 @ napa. and my metrick deepsocket set at harbor freight tools for 14.99. 10mm - 32mm

for s13, its 30mm front, 36 rear. i know, cuz i bought em both
i have both if u want to borrow em. makes no sense to buy em like i did cuz i wont touch em again.

Rear axles is 36mm on S13/S14
Front hubs is 30mm on S13 and 32mm on S14.

I ended up getting a 20-38 impact socket set at harbor freight...
cost about 30 bucks but it'll do for now...
