Does your shift knob shake when you peel out?

Does this happen to you guys all the time or is it bad? Please let me know my car runs really good but the only thing is when i peel out the shift knob kinda wiggles. Thanks

If that's the only time your shift knob moves around, you're doing pretty good. Mine moves all over the place... shot motor mounts.

It shakes in your case because as you peel out you're getting wheelhop.. the drivetrain is being rapidly loaded and unloaded over and over again, which will cause the engine and transmission to rapidly load and unload against the chassis and move around in their mounts.

It's a pretty normal thing to see in a RWD manual trans car with stock rubber motor mounts. Don't worry about it. If it bothers you consider stronger motor mounts, but consider that instead of the mounts absorbing that vibration, your butt will absorb it!
