Im guessing its a mid 50s Chevy of some sort? Its obviously chopped and maybe sectioned as well as smoothed out.

I just love the look of this car. My dad is retiring soon and has been talking about wanting to start building a hot rod in his garage. Im looking for inspiration.

But yeah... More info/pics of cars like this would be cool.

Not a 1952.

1949 to 1951 for those body lines.

51 mercury. The 49 us a tad different. That's the classic and iconic sled. Rockabilly style car. Have a buddy that just sold his. They are nice and big and expensive to build right. And take a while to work on. But they are sexy.

You'll never know the exact year of these cars, its a 49-52 merc for sure, but they are cut hacked and chopped up so much and parts intermixed so often you'll never really know.

That thing looks like it weighs a billion pounds. But you can probably stand in the engine bay.

it does weigh a billion pounds... and most of the cars pictures have been stretched and had the tops chopped.. that alone isn't basic stuff most people can do.. it's all custom driveline most of the time..

The first one kind of looks like the rat rod style. I love those mercury's though.

That car was also used in "Cobra," an old Stallone flop. It was also in "Gone in Sixty Seconds."

It was a 1946 Ford.

Marty McFly: There he is, Doc! Let's land on him, we'll cripple his car.
Doc: Marty, he's in a '46 Ford, we're in a DeLorean. He'd rip through us like we were tin foil.
