In 1983, the Z was drastically revised with the introduction of the Z31 model. The big news for the Z31 was that it was the first Z to be powered by a V6 engine (although a turbo inline six was still available in select Japanese models). Again, the Z31's were heavier and more complex then their predecessors, but the turbo Z with its turbocharged VG30ET V6 was a very fast car for its day. My good friend had a turbo Z31 when were high school and I have plenty of good memories of cruising around in that car and I remember thinking it was pretty damn fast! I have a feeling that '80s sports cars are going become the next big thing, and the Z31 with its "high tech" styling could become a favorite as more1980's nostalgia settles in. Scoop them up now while they are still cheap!

i know the z31 isnt the best looking Z, but it has its history behind it and Nissan, being it was at the time Nissan North America's flagship sports car and the racing history behind em.

I know the rear suspension isnt that favorable.

IIRC there's a way to switch it back and forth between English and French. Remember, 90% of Canadians speak English as their first language, or they can speak it. Very few French Canadians can ONLY speak french and not any English. It wouldn't make any sense for it to be manufactured to speak only in French.

I dunno man, I have a damn good imagination, and I just cannot see a Z31 vert ever being attractive. I've seen alot of nice Z31s, but the body lines on the vert just don't look right. Almost every car thats ever been made exclusively with a fastback/liftback/sportsroof body looks TERRIBLE when made into a convertible. The body lines rarely look right. Now, cars that were made as coupes can look great as verts because they're basically the same damn thing. lol


Perhaps somebody should get to work with some photochopping and prove me wrong. :D
