what size injectors sr20det

ok so while my car was at a shop getting some piping made my injectors came up missing or "stolen by someone" my setup is s15 t28 tomei 270 cams wanting to run stock ecu and safc what size injectors should i use i was thinking about dsm 440s i have a top feed or the stock rail still any help would be great

You can't really use an SAFC effectively on 550cc injectors. I know deatschwerks offers some 450cc injectors for $280. You can also look into running some STi injectors, those are ~525cc and I'm not sure how the SAFC would do with that - I honestly forget what the limitations are but remember 550s were too big on them.

well i purchased a power fc jetro for 700 bucks and got screwed out of it so its either this shady cats rom tune or stock with piggyback, id really like to not have any more dealings with this guy

Some 370s with a FPR on the dyno might yeild you the ability to run a little bit more boost.

I'd figure running an OEM ECU + 370s + T28 @ 8psi + Cams would give you a decent set up for now. Then save up for injectors and good management to get 300+ whp.

i had planned on running just off the wastegate. no boost cont. thanks for answering the ? wheres a good place besides ebay to get a ecu? im a lil hesitant to buy one from ebay.

A stock ECU? Contact a reputable importer. I've personally dealt with J-Hot and they're awesome, I'm sure they could get you an ECU - they stand by their products too.

as stated above, dont skimp out on cheap alternatives for fuel management, go ahead and get a power fc if you can afford to do so. it'll give your setup room to grow if you ever decide to do more to it. like up the boost or add bigger injectors.

I agree with this. My brother in-law ran this set and got good results. it would hold you over until you have the money to invest in a good a fuel management and injectors. but for a S15 turbo i dont see why you would need anything bigger than 450cc...
