About 2 months ago I custom made the radio trim in my 95 240sx. I got alot of interest in them locally but I was wondering what you guys thought. I completely redid the trim in real carbon fiber and it looks good. I was just wondering what the interest would be if I did some custom work for you guys on zilvia. I could do it stock with space for the radio, pocket under the radio, ash tray and cigarette lighter. Or I could do a custom setup, for example i could do the space for the radio and put holes for gauges, turbo timers and boost controllers. I will try and get some pics up as soon as I get my camera fixed. i was just wondering if there would be any interest in something like that. I'm not sure if a company already produces these yet, but I do know that if they do you most likely cant get it custom made to your liking. I know that 90% of the radio trims in the cars are snapped in half or missing. I figured I would get that out there and see if anyone would be interested in something like that. I really look forward to hearing your feedback.

KOGNITION makes these... or made them.
Thats what I had in my s14.
It's hard to find people that want to pay actual money for parts...especially right now.
best of luck with your work.

it's also jdm nissan factory option,
climate control center panel, radior trim, ashtray, and shift cover.
I only have the ashtray left sold the rest.
the accessory part number is availabe on the jdm fast program for s14 toward the end, some dealer can look it up.
cheers,
sam

I've seen the OE pieces but if they're the same ones I'm thinking about, they're not real CF, they're just a printed finish that looks carbon. Like the K's Aero pieces which were gunmetal in color. If they did make real CF, cool, ignore me.

the only problem I see with that is if one part is carbon then everything has to be carbon or it just looks out of place. I'm planning to go to a sheet metal center trim but it will merge the shift surround, radio trim and climate control area. Could you make a carbon piece for that? (all 3 pieces as one)
I'd be interested...

It would be alot more work but it can be done. You would have to give me some details on what holes you wanted where you wanted them.

If you could make CF center trim from the vents to the shifter, and the console/armrest... I'd be down.

Radio trim and the 5 speed trim are the 2 interior pieces in an S14 that has the most demand. Radio trim because they turn into peanut brittle after 6 yrs and 5 speed trim for the folks who did a 5 speed swap.
If you decide to do the 5 speed trim, figure out a better way to secure the boot in place tho. Mold some screw with a bolt under there or something, so you can secure the boot in place with them instead.
