YEAHHHHH BOYEEEEEEEEE

i rent shit right now, but if the slope doesn't close permanently after this season... i'm going to work out all year and buy my own gear, and have a good winter '09.

why are your slopes in danger of closing?? You gotta buy gear, it's the only way to go.

Get familiar with one set of equipment, and it's gonna be saving you money after only a few times

the land they're on became its own city about a decade after they opened, and now the city is forcing some of its rules on them. they're demanding a ton of back taxes or a portion of the land be set aside for a nature trail or some shit.
they probably won't close, but they're saying they will if the city doesn't back down. it's like some 80's movie

Hopefully, we'll be getting some snow in Tahoe this season. They say it'll be a dry winter/spring this year for us.

Meanwhile, I made some Freeline skates so I can bomb hills on the way to work!

Who is saying this? I'm planning to be in Tahoe for New Years specifically to snowboard.

BTW - SkiDazzle is in LA right now. Burton board, boots, and bindings for $430. I came up. The board alone retails for more than that. I bought good bindings too.

My cousin said it'll be pretty dry this year but it won't stop them from making snow. I'm still going in Feb. for sure! I picked up some flow bindings.

I want really comfortable boots though. Im guessing you can't go wrong with Burtons right.

I've always had 32 boots and loved them, but after trying out a pair of my friend's burtons last week, i might be tempted to try some burtons for my next pair

they're got a new lace up system that takes like 2 seconds to get them tied up, instead of like 5 minutes. And they feel pretty good too.

My brother didn't say anything, my cousin did. But who know's where the fuck she heard that. Can't meteorologist predict weather from global temps., ocean currents, and past weather patterns etc. Shit, I'm no meteorologist.

I do have Flow bindings though. I LOVE craigslist. Are you saying burton BINDINGS suck or just burton in general?
