I was thinking of buying these however, i know there will be some haters on here, but what size would you guys recommend for a mild sunken in look in the rear. I was thinking 18 x 8.5 + 25 all around, how much sunked in would these look based on experience with these wheel specs

thanks

I personally have these but the staggered set. 8.5 +25 (f) and 9.5 +30 (r). With my stance coilovers I didn't run into any clearance issues. As far as gap, there's a noticable one but I think you should be ok. Your best bet is too search and find pics of them on someones car. Not sure if I've seen a car with 8.5's all around though. Goodluck!

^This is just for you sexy beasts who love to have flush wheels on their wheels.
No chewbacca-spec sunken battleship shadow offsets here. We're talking micro minimal millimeters of clearance between lips and fenders.

Non compliance will be met with deletion.

that is why i did not post in this thread, i wanted to talk about the sunken in.

Curbing your wheel should never be a reason for not buying what you want.

Curbing your wheels can only happen WHEN A SHITTY DRIVER IS UNABLE TO AVOID A FUCKING STATIONARY CURB.

Doesn't matter if it's a 18x3.5" +19854703497590 wheel or a 18x12" -13 wheel, if you are aiming for the curb, you are going to hit it, thus "curbed wheels".

People need to learn to fucking drive, instead of crying about how they don't want man sized/offset wheels because they have vaginas the size of caves and how they suck at driving so much they aim for curbs every chance they have.

BTW, nobody on Zilvia likes "Shadow Offset".

dude
you need to chill out. seriously, no one cares about your opinion anymore than the next asshole that thinks people dont like cars if their fenders arnt pulled w/ flusssshhh wheeeelllsszz...

come to terms with the fact that your opinion doesnt really matter, then maybe you wont be as opinionated and insulting to others you havent met...

its wheels on a 10+ year old car.. not the end of the world.. plus hes buying nice ones, not junk knockoffs..

when you live in the city and have tight parking its hard sometimes to avoid it, however i was mearly suggesting a reason as a plus to buying these, however making assumptions about my driving ability sir is not cool, i am assuming you drive professionally?

+1. If you drive like fuck you're going to curb a wheel, doesn't matter if it's a -40 or +40 offset. I've curbed one of my old +38 Konigs when I was an 18yr tool, and one of my +19 Volks a couple years ago. I don't see how making the car look ghey has anything to do with not hitting a curb, just don't hit the thing.
